Jaye R. Lindsay Attorney | Founder

Jaye R. Lindsay is an experienced trial attorney, having litigated more than 100 cases to trial, ranging from probate and custody matters to complex medical malpractice, civil rights, and Second Amendment cases. For more than 13 years, Jaye has represented clients throughout Illinois, appearing in 80+ county courts, as well as several federal courts. Today, he focuses the majority of his practice on restoring peoples’ Second Amendment rights. As a decorated combat veteran and lifelong gun enthusiast, he is ready to stand firm for your Constitutional rights.

Jaye attended University of South Florida, where he studied communication and philosophy, before relocating north to attend law school at Southern Illinois University, where he excelled in and out of the classroom. He served as a teaching assistant, citation editor for the Journal of Legal Medicine, and clerked for the Jackson County Circuit Court. When not working, you can find Jaye at local dog barks with his pup, Dolly, or traveling with his three daughters.

Meet the Staff

Kayla Barnett Client Coordinator

Kayla is a skilled marketing and social media professional who joined the team to help us manage our growing practice. As our Client Coordinator, Kayla is primarily responsible for onboarding new clients and helping to manage appointment scheduling, payments, and the general flow of work.  Kayla works remotely, splitting her time between St. Louis and her home back in West Virginia! She is a strong 2A supporter and is dedicated to the cause. When not working, Kayla spends time with her kids and enjoys traveling!

Commitment to Service

In 2000, Jaye enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Fort Drum, NY with the 10th Mountain Div. Light Infantry. Immediately in the aftermath of 9/11, he deployed to Afghanistan.
